The declaration period for quantities of beverage containers placed on the market (POM Declaration) is taking place between 1 and 5 June and relates to the month of May 2026.
Producers and Authorised Representatives must declare the number of units placed on the market, corresponding to sales and/or donations recorded between 1 and 31 May 2026, for all products with a completed SDR registration (status “Registered”).
Please note that:
Even if no units of a given product were placed on the market, the corresponding declaration must still be submitted with “0” (zero) units;
If no declaration was submitted for the period from 10 to 30 April, quantities placed on the market during April must be declared by means of a “Standard Declaration”, together with the quantities placed on the market during May. An email detailing the breakdown of the April quantities should also be sent to embaladores@sdrportugal.pt;
If a declaration was submitted for the period from 10 to 30 April but the reported data needs to be corrected, a “Correction Declaration” may be submitted reflecting the difference between the reported quantities and the corrected quantities.
