Role Objective
To ensure the monitoring, analysis and optimisation of the economic and financial performance of SDR Portugal through the implementation of effective management control systems that support the company’s strategic and operational decision-making.
To manage and execute Treasury activities and other administrative-financial operations with a high degree of autonomy, rigour and responsibility, contributing to the operational efficiency of the Administrative/Financial Department.
Key Responsibilities
Daily treasury management and cash budget control;
Execution and monitoring of banking operations;
Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with deadlines;
Regular interaction with banking institutions and external partners;
Support to Human Resources management, ensuring the administrative tasks related to the area;
Execution and coordination of general administrative tasks within the department, including fleet management, telecommunications and other contracts.
Candidate Profile
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Administration or a similar field;
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.+
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in administrative and financial roles;
- Solid experience in treasury, cash flow management and accounts payable/receivable;
- Experience in administrative Human Resources functions (preferred).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of treasury and banking operations;
- Proven experience in cash flow management and control;
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP and management software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision);
- Knowledge of HR administrative processes.
- Behavioural Skills:

Role Objective

Profile Sought
- Qualifications
- Degree in Management, Economics, Finance or a related field.
- Additional training in Management Control, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics will be valued.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an asset.
- Professional Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management control roles.
- Experience in a Big Four firm will be valued.
- Experience in medium to large sized companies, preferably in sectors with a strong operational component.
- Experience in demanding reporting environments and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Technical Skills
- Strong command of management control, planning and financial analysis tools.
- Solid knowledge of analytical and financial accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Role Objective
Ensure the effective and rigorous management of SDR Portugal’s accounting, guaranteeing compliance with national and international accounting standards, as well as fiscal and legal obligations. Support the Finance Director in strategic decision making through the provision of reliable and timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all the company’s accounting processes, including general, analytical and cost accounting.
- Guarantee compliance with fiscal and legal obligations, including periodic and annual tax filings (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, IES, etc.).
- Coordinate the monthly and annual closing of accounts, ensuring the integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and sign financial statements and management reports to support the finance function.
- Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Provide the necessary support to internal and external audits, ensuring full availability of accounting documentation.
- Advise on the adoption of best fiscal practices.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes relevant to accounting and taxation.
- Collaborate with other areas of the organisation, namely treasury and management control.
- Oversee and develop the accounting function, promoting continuous improvement and technical training.
Profile Sought
- Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or a similar field.
- Active registration as a Contabilista Certificado na Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (OCC).
- Additional training in taxation or international accounting standards (IFRS) will be valued.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an asset.
- Professional Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a senior coordination or management position.
- Proven experience in medium to large corporate environments.
- Experience with audit processes and financial reporting.
- Technical Skills
- Strong command of national accounting standards (SNC) and international standards (IFRS).
- Solid knowledge of Portuguese taxation.
- Experience with financial ERPs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong financial data analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with reporting and BI tools will be an advantage.
