We inform you that an explanatory document on the Incentive System to Accelerate Implementation of the DRS has been published, with the aim of providing clearer guidance to eligible Collection Point operators.
Please note that the previously planned application process has been simplified, as all food retail Collection Points registered on the SDR Portugal Portal by February 28, 2026 are, by default, considered eligible.
By March 16, SDR Portugal will send all eligible Collection Point operators a notification regarding the validation process of eligibility criteria and the respective deadlines.
